Quinelle decides to enroll in the local college, Samuel Utt College of Qahog (known locally and affectionately as Sucq College). She realizes that in order to keep the family facade up and a strict eye on 14-year old Qeah she must remain in Qahog.
Samuel Utt (b. 1830, d. 1911), a prominent businessman and fishing industry mogul, was the founder of both Qahog and the college.
Qeah, who decides she doesn't want to attend SUCQ College, sets up a satire/rogue website: SUCQS.com (Both SUCQ.com and SUCQS.com redirect here, at least for now).
The website becomes popular with SUCQ students.
Again, this may be a very minor detail in the book.
